Community First
This Community Centre was established approximately 60 years ago and was one of four Community centres within Harlow. All of these centres were developed as part of the Harlow New Town Development Corporation, and was originally funded partly by Harlow Development Corporation, and Essex County Council.
The Association is a registered charity, and overall responsibility is in the hands of a board of Trustees, all are volunteers. We would welcome anyone who would be willing to take an interest in the centre and give a little time to us and our activities.
Our Mission
Our community comes first.
Our mission is to continue strengthening existing links and to build new partnerships within the local community; extending our range of opportunities as we grow. We would like to take this opportunity of welcoming new groups and activities to the association.
Our Aim
The aim of the Association is to enable anyone who would like to organise an activity, which will enhance the lives of members of the local community, by offering rooms and halls to hire at a reasonable cost. Whilst ensuring our own financial viability.
We would like to take this opportunity of welcoming new groups and activities to the centre, to help us build stronger community links, and at the same time extending our range of opportunities as we continue to grow together.
We serve the local community
As a registered charity, Tye Green Community Association is a non-profit organisation, based in Bush Fair. The Trustees continue to provide high quality services and activities for local people and the wider community, at a reasonable cost. We always strive to be better and improve services where we can.
